In Daytime Dream-Window, I used a Kinect infrared sensor to motion-track viewers as they passed a TV screen displaying a live 3D forest rendered in Unity. Their movements controlled the position of the sunlight within the scene, casting shifting shadows and hues. The viewer became like the sun or an agent of time and light. Able to pause, rewind, or accelerate the perception of time within the forest’s ambiance by just their presence. In a moment of embodied magic, where perception shaped reality, viewers were invited to reimagine their relationship with time and the environment.
DXARTS Gallery, University of Washington, Seattle, Washington
During the 2025 academic year, I studied Data-Driven Arts at the University of Washington, exploring interactive digital art. For their final project, I used TouchDesigner to create a projection-mapped moving painting of AI-generated sci-fi landscapes. The artwork dynamically morphed based on ambient sound and viewer proximity—remaining sharp in silence but becoming obscured as noise increased, symbolizing the fading clarity of a utopian dream. My artwork was displayed for one day in the DXARTS Gallery on UW Seattle campus.

Private Residence, Yakima, Washington
In 2022, Fox was commissioned to design and paint a mural on the south facing side of a garden shed in Yakima, Washington. The theme was to be bright, modern, and carry the vibe of the landscape in color and subject. Yakima is known for grapes, hops and summer heat. This mural is titled Heatwave in homage to the weather; the high for the day was 108° F.
Sunbeams whip and splash around each other like waves or fire. Just as the Sun drives the formation of clouds and the rain cycle; turquoise blue waves symbolize the rains pushed by the winds of our atmosphere.
Ellensburg, Washington
In 2014, two entrepreneurs and friends of mine commissioned me for 2 paintings to display in a members-only lounge and bar in Ellensburg, Washington, home of Central Washington University. Moody scenes with stimulating textures were requested along with bright colors inline with the store's modern and low-key vibes. While in operation, my paintings hung above café patrons while they indulged in stimulating intellectual conversations.
Kittitas County Fairgrounds, Ellensburg, Washington
In 2014, I was commissioned to produce a painting while demonstrating art principals and painting technique to festival-goers at the Kittitas County Fair in 2012. Using a variety of painting techniques, Fox worked from memory to produce this one-of-a-kind artwork in their 2 hour window. This piece is titled "Screen Behind the Mirror" and was gifted to Fox's dear friend.
